When making Ionic~Colloidal Silver a Wall Adaptor can be used to save on batteries. The Wall Adaptor that comes with the SOTA Magnetic Pulser or Water O3zonator works perfectly. You can also purchase a Wall Adaptor from SOTA or you can purchase any Wall Adaptor that meets the specifications in the manual.

How do you know? Keep an eye on your Silver Wires—they last a very long time, yet they will need to be replaced when both wires get very thin.
We stock all the replacement accessories you need. Think sponge sleeves, rubber probes, wall adaptors or silver wires, our Customer Experience team can help you out if needed.
Do you ever notice "gray stuff" accumulating on your Silver Wires during the Ionic~Colloidal Silver making process? No worries - this is completely normal. It's silver oxide (oxidation) and while we do not want to drink it, it is a normal part of the silver making process.
Periodically lifting up the silver wire holder with the wires still attached and gently wiping them with a paper towel or soft cloth before re-immersing them into the water is a great idea. Usually doing it once during the 2-hour session is enough, however, some may need to do it a little more frequently. Keep in mind, this is also a good opportunity to "stir" the solution a bit (once the wires are clean, move the silver wire holder in a circular motion in the water to mimic stirring).
An option is to filter the solution through an unbleached (organic if you can) paper coffee filter to catch any oxidation / silver flakes before pouring it into the glass jar for storing. If you are getting lots of oxidation, you may also want to try a different brand of distilled water. You would be surprised how various brands can behave differently!
By the way, a great tip from our tech is to boil the distilled water first and then brew the silver solution as the water cools down. This creates natural convection in the water and effectively keeps it stirred. This might make all the difference to you. We want to be clear, using hot water does not in any way speed up the process of making the Ionic~Colloidal Silver, but it does act to create microcirculation which minimizes the buildup of oxides on the silver wires. The choice is yours - you can make the Ionic~Colloidal Silver with distilled water at room temperature or boiling hot.

Several methods of creating Ionic~Colloidal Silver have evolved over the years since it first became possible to make your own Ionic~Colloidal Silver at home. Of all the methods available, we believe the Constant Current Method is far superior and is the standard for home–created Ionic~Colloidal Silver.
Constant Current is a process that moves silver ions (charged silver atoms) off the silver wires at a slow and controlled rate. This means the electrical current supplied to the silver wires never varies; it is held constant during the electrolysis process.
