"I did not come to guide sheep, I came to awaken lions."
- Argentinian President Javier Milei
With so much happening in the world and different opinions competing for attention, it's important to think carefully and critically about the future we want. The decisions we make today shape tomorrow's reality. Do we make freedom our priority or do we continue down the path of making safety our priority allowing fear to guide our future? With freedom comes more opportunities, creativity and innovation. With fear we hand over our power to people or governments that promise safety.
Do we continue down the path where government takes on more power over our lives? A society flourishes under freedom with an economy based on a free-market while an economy based on more government control stifles the economy under socialism.
In Canada, when I was growing up, before the ideas of socialism took hold, my Dad worked and my Mom chose to stay home to raise us. A family could easily exist on one income - own a home and have enough to travel on holidays.
Canada started to embrace socialism. The ideals of socialism were very appealing—the idea of everyone's needs being met. By the time I was a young woman out in the work force, it was getting more difficult to live on one income. I could not afford to purchase a home and lived paycheck to paycheck. Now two incomes were needed to live at the same level as when I was younger.
During this time CNN was created andnews became a 24-hour, round-the-clock industry, focusing on reporting fear events rather than using the medium to create confidence with inspirational events. More and more, safety became the main focus, with government quick to promise it through increased control and more socialism. But we aren't told the cost of the promise of safety – is the cost worth it?
Fast forward to today and owning a home for many of our youth is out of their reach. More and more people are becoming homeless and so many are barely able to make ends meet - carrying debt is far more prevalent to meet household needs. It has taken three generations for the effects of socialism to degrade our living standards.
History shows this is what has happened in other countries that turn to socialism. Perhaps the parable about feeding a man a fish and you will be feeding him for a lifetime compared to teaching a man to fish and he will feed himselfis a reflection of the difference between socialism and a free-market economy. Unfortunately, few people understand how a free-market economy creates abundance because in the Western world, what was once a free-market, turned toCorporatocracy and Socialism.
Throughout history, free-market economies — where individuals and businesses are free to make their own choices — has been the engine of innovation, prosperity and opportunity for countless people. This system empowered individuals to chase their dreams and build better lives. For instance, in this newsletter you can hear Argentinian PresidentJavier Milei speak on how his nation saw great success when it embraced free-market policies and how when it shifted towards socialism and more government control the country descended into poverty.
We Choose the Future: Freedom or Control?
To build a brighter future, it's important to hold onto our core values of freedom, hope and unity. With creativity and optimism, we can either build a thriving, forward-looking society or chance becoming stuck in division and decline. The choice is ours: continue to support individual freedom and innovation or accept increased government control.

Has socialism failed economically, socially and culturally?
Milei suggests the solution lies in returning to free-market principles.

"Far from being the cause of our problems, free-market capitalism as an economic system is the only tool we have to end hunger, poverty, and destitution throughout the planet. The empirical evidence is unquestionable."
Argentinian President Javier Milei emphasizes that the Western world is in danger due to leaders abandoning the principles of freedom in favor of collectivist ideologies, which he argues lead to poverty and economic stagnation.
He uses Argentina's history as a case study, highlighting that embracing freedom in the 1860s led to prosperity, while adopting collectivist policies in the last century resulted in economic decline.

"The state is the problem itself" might be the most beautiful and logic sentence a politician has ever said.
You are one of the few shining lights in this world's future. May you succeed in your endeavors.
Here in The EU, we desperately need this kind of leadership. All the best and keep pushing Argentina forward unrelenting. We are enviously watching

"This is probably the best speech I have ever heard coming from a politician. Bravo
50 years down the line people will come back to this and realize he was so ahead of his time
Thank you, the new Argentine president. I agree with you. I am from China.
Socialism
Giving or Taking?
The roots of Socialism are based on the importance of giving. Most of us would agree it is worthy to give. When we give with love, it opens our heart. We tap into a feeling that we're serving a higher purpose. We become a better person. When the giving involves taking, what do we lose personally and as a society? Are those losses worth it?
A few years back we wrote a Be The Changeseries, exploring the definitions of freedom, health, safety and the role of government. If freedom is what we seek, we need to make choices that reflect it. Too often, we turn to outside sources for safety and direction. But what if we looked inward, through a lens of love, empowerment and compassion? What if we create a future that sets out to inspire? Maybe it's time to imagine a future where freedom truly belongs to everyone and where each of us takes responsibility for shaping it.
In How I See The State Of Our Union, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. touches on regenerative farming, glyphosate, chronic disease, obesity and raising the living standards of every day Americans, reflecting on the change needed to reclaim our health and build a strong society.
Critics claim he is firing at random, but the Milei Administration has assured the public that selecting those who will be laid off will be an "extremely surgical task, done so as not to make mistakes."
President Javier Milei has done an excellent job of restoring Argentina by removing government agencies, already eliminating useless agencies such as the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor, and Ministry of Social Development.
Imagine a world where freedom is a vibrant way of life - a society that encourages new ideas, where creativity and curiosity thrive, a place where people feel empowered to dream, take risks and innovate. A place where spirit grows, not from strict rules, but from our shared creativity. In this place, kindness and support unite communities and government exists not to control but to help us thrive together. Imagine the true freedom we could feel.
Our world is going through a period of great change. Maybe now is a wake-up call of sorts, nudging us to live from our hearts. Take a moment to look within. Connect with your calm, intuitive side - where your core values and dreams reside. Think of a world where you could fully be yourself, surrounded by people who uplift and inspire. Think about the ways you'd contribute, the relationships you'd cultivate, the impact you'd leave. Maybe now is the time to start living that life if you are not already. Maybe it is time to stop looking to outside authority to save us and instead look for creative solutions ourselves. This isn't about politics or policies - it's about heart, humanity, connection and the potential we all carry to build something beautiful for ourselves and each other ... together.
