Any suggestions to help get the most out of the Bio Tuner?
Daily, consistent use is the one thing we can't emphasize enough. It is critical if you want to get the most benefit from the Bio Tuner. It's best to use it daily for a minimum of 4 weeks. And the best way to do that is to incorporate the Bio Tuner into your existing daily routines.
Do you enjoy a daily walk, have a long commute or like to read or watch TV in the evening? These are all great times to tap into the relaxing benefits of the Bio Tuner. Choose a time and place that fit your lifestyle and make it a regular part of your day. The Bio Tuner is completely portable, making it easier for you to continue with your Wellness Program anytime, anywhere.
Have you tried conductive gel?
When using the Bio Tuner, a little dab of gel on the ear lobes can make the pulsing sensation a little gentler. We've also discovered that colloidal silver gel works great in providing a soothing experience. Other options, such as aloe vera gel and some personal lubricants, work well too.

Does the Bio Tuner work best on high?
No, the unit does not need to be turned up to maximum. Turn the intensity switch only until the current can be felt. It is best that the level of intensity be comfortable. With repeated use, the buzzing sensation may not be felt as much.

What can be done to reduce skin irritation on the ear lobes?
Ensure the Ear Clip Rubber Electrodes are fully conductive: You can check this by touching the Rubber Electrodes together. Turn the intensity dial to full in Mode 1. If the YELLOW Light comes on brightly, the Electrodes are fully conductive. If not, the Ear Clip Rubber Electrodes should be replaced. Electrodes that are not fully conductive may deliver a prickly feeling contributing to irritation.

Other suggestions include: Clean your ear lobes before applying the Electrodes. Natural oils on the skin can interact with the electricity, potentially causing a "stinging" feeling. Wet the Ear Clip Rubber Electrodes with water before each session for better conductivity. Alternatively, use conductive gel or colloidal silver gel or a personal lubricant to moisten the Electrodes before starting your session. Reduce the intensity level during use to minimize discomfort. After each session, wash your ear lobes and apply a soothing gel or lotion, such as aloe vera, vitamin E oil, or MSM cream, to promote healing and prevent irritation.

Touch Switch: The current unit uses a membrane switch and the new unit will use a more reliable touch switch – similar to the touch screen on a Smartphone.
Software Upgrade to the Sound Option: When turning on the Sound Option, the current MP7 beeps on every pulse. With the new MP7, the Sound Option also has the SOTA Wellness Program added in. This corresponds with the new Pulse Point Location Charts – providing a beep when it is time to move the Hand Paddle to the next location. The Pulse Point Location Charts can be found here:Chart 1 and Chart 2.
