Wow. There is a lot swirling around on this beautiful planet of ours and I am often reminding myself that there is FAR more love on this planet than the opposite of love. Our hearts go out to everyone that is being affected.
The light is shining brightly on so much darkness and we are all getting an opportunity to experience it in ourselves as well as to see it in the world around us. What we are going through collectively will be with us in the years ahead as we learn to come together, as we learn what being part of humanity means to us. We imagine part of the discussion in the near future will be how much power do we want governments & our leaders to have over us — and what is their role in creating a healthy & happy society?
In Canada we are having a federal election this month. It is interesting to observe. All the 'established' parties are on board with suppressing freedoms and dividing us — vaccine passports are the future. Yet, there is a new party openly stating 'no lockdowns, no mask mandates and no vaccine passports'. It will be interesting to see the results of this election. Russ and I have not voted for approximately 15 years because we decided our vote was worthy of someone who stood for values we hold dear — truth, service, integrity, honor, freedom, wisdom — someone who inspires us to be the best that we can be. After 15 years we are dusting off our vote. Each of us can help to create an amazing beautiful future for all of us on this planet. How? There is no one answer, but maybe a first step is learning to listen to our heart and to keep our thoughts on what we want life on planet earth to look like.
Wherever you are on the planet and whatever situation you find yourself in we will get through this time together. Our future is bright.
Russ and I and the SOTA Team appreciate each and every one of you.

Current events are challenging us to ask ourselves a question: who are we?
Every time some upheaval occurs in the world we have to react and adjust. Sometimes we react with anger, sometimes humor or sadness or happiness... maybe indifference. And we have to decide, is this who we are?
Do I choose harmony or conflict? Tolerance or intolerance? Action or apathy? Will I be the best version of myself or the worst?
Despite the turmoil around us, we believe the future is extremely positive. We are all being asked to see & feel the falsehoods in our society, to raise our standards & expectations of those we give power to. Once we do this we can begin to create a better world.
This is What We've All Been Waiting For Gregg Braden bridges the gap between science and spirituality, between the past and the future.
This video is a little longer. Each month we want to share an under-appreciated health secret. Something simple with big effects on our health. Last month it was walking. This month it is a chemical which may be the single most damaging threat to our environment and our health.
Chemical Farming & The Loss of Human Health Zach Bush, MD is a former researcher in the field of chemotherapy. His Eureka moment came when he realized all diseases have one thing in common, chronic inflammation. This, along with seeing a huge increase in various diseases in the 1990s led him to the culprit, an anti-biotic introduced to industrial farming.
