A gentle pulse, working quietly with your body.

Micropulsing with the SOTA Silver Pulser introduces a low-level electrical current through the wrist — designed to be so gentle, most people simply put it on and go about their day.

Your body is already electric.

Every cell in your body communicates using tiny electrical signals. This isn’t speculation — it’s textbook biology. Micropulsing works with this natural system.

Cells run on electricity

Your heart beats because of electrical impulses. Your brain thinks using electrical signals. Every nerve, muscle and organ depends on bioelectricity — currents measured in microamps (millionths of an amp).

Microcurrent mimics what’s already there

Micropulsing delivers current in the same micro-amp range your body naturally uses. It’s sub-sensory for many people — designed to complement, not overpower, your body’s own electrical activity.

It’s a well-studied field

Bioelectric technology is an active area of research at universities worldwide. The concept of applying gentle external currents to support the body’s natural processes has been explored for decades, with growing interest from the scientific community.

Applied gently, at the wrist

The wrist has natural pulse points where the current can interface with the body’s electrical network. Micropulsing uses two contact points at these spots, creating a gentle, steady circuit.

What is Micropulsing?

A simple way to introduce gentle electrical stimulation into your daily routine — using a small, wearable wrist unit.

Gentle current, two contacts

A mild current flows between two probes placed on natural pulse points on the wrist. It creates a steady circuit — continuous, gentle and consistent.

Runs in the Background

Most people put it on and carry on — working, reading, walking. Quietly supports while you live your life. Adjust intensity when needed.

One small wellness input

Like food, sleep, movement, or rest — this is one of many habits that support your well-being. It sits alongside whatever you’re already doing.

What does it actually feel like?

People always ask this. Here’s an interactive way to understand the sensation before you ever try the real thing.

Slide to explore different intensity levels

Level 0 — Off

Nothing yet

The unit is off. No sensation. This is your baseline.

Level 1 — Barely there

Like a watch on your wrist

Most people say they can barely feel it at this level. It’s like the lightest tapping — so gentle you forget it’s there.

Level 2 — Gentle pulse

A soft, rhythmic tapping

Now you can feel a clear, steady pulse. Think of it like a gentle finger tapping on your wrist at a slow, even rhythm. Comfortable enough to wear all day.

Level 3 — Noticeable

A firm but comfortable pulse

You definitely feel it now — a steady, distinct pulsing. Not sharp, not painful, but clearly there. Some people prefer this, others turn it down. Your choice.

The secret is consistency, not intensity.

Think of Micropulsing like sleep, nutrition, hydration, or movement — a daily input that supports your system over time.

We recommend a minimum of 6 months for best results, ideally a year. It’s a lifestyle, not a quick fix.

A sample routine. Not a rule.

Everyone’s routine looks different. This is just one example — Micropulsing works around your life, not the other way around.

  1. 7:15 AM

    Micropulsing starts

    Morning routine

Put on the unit while you make breakfast. Set it to a comfortable level. You’ll forget it’s there by the time you sit down.

  2. 8:30 AM

    Work / errands

Wear it during your meetings, at your desk, or while doing chores. The unit is small enough to slip under a sleeve.

  3. 9:15 AM

    Session complete

    Remove and carry on

After your session, simply take it off. Some people do one session, others do multiple throughout the day. Your rhythm, your choice.

  4. 7:00 PM

    Optional evening session

    Wind down

Some people enjoy another session while reading, watching TV, or relaxing in the evening. It’s entirely up to you.

Common misconceptions.

New things can feel unfamiliar. Here’s what people often assume — and what’s actually true.

  • Myth

“It’s going to shock me or hurt”

    Reality

Micropulsing operates in the micro-amp range — the same magnitude as your body’s own electrical signals. Most people describe it as a gentle tapping. You control the intensity and can turn it down anytime.

  • Myth

“It’s complicated to set up and use”

    Reality

Place two electrodes on the pulse points on your wrist, then turn the dial. That’s it. No apps, no pairing, no learning curve. Small enough to fit in your pocket, big enough to make a difference.

  • Myth

“I need to sit still and ‘do’ a session”

    Reality

You wear it while doing whatever you’d normally do — cooking, working, walking the dog, gardening. It’s designed to be invisible to your day.

  • Myth

“It’s only for aging people with health issues”

    Reality

People of all ages use Micropulsing as part of a proactive wellness routine — not just reactive. Many users are in their 30s and 40s, simply looking to support their energy and well-being.

  • Myth

    “It’s a new, unproven technology”

    Reality

Microcurrents have been used in wellness and clinical settings since the 1970s. SOTA has been making the Silver Pulser since 1996 — that’s 30 years of consistent use by customers in over 140 countries.

  • Myth

“It’ll wear out and need replacing”

    Reality

The Silver Pulser is built to last. Many customers have been using the same unit for 10, 15, even 20+ years. A little care goes a long way — wipe the probes, replace the Sleeves. That’s all it takes. SOTA even offers an Upgrade Program so your investment carries forward as new models release.

How to Use Micropulsing.

  1. A wrist wearing the Silver Pulser electrodes

Step 1 — Place the electrodes

Place the electrodes on the two pulse points on your wrist — one on the thumb side and one on the opposite side. Take a moment to position them comfortably so they stay in place.

  2. A hand holding and adjusting the Silver Pulser unit

Step 2 — Turn it on and adjust

Switch the unit on and slowly adjust the level until it feels comfortable. The sensation should be gentle and easy to tolerate, not strong or distracting.

  3. A person cycling outdoors while wearing the unit

Step 3 — Continue with your day

Once it’s set, you can carry on with your day — whether you’re working, relaxing or even out enjoying some fresh air.

  4. Two people enjoying time together outdoors

Step 4 — Start small and build up

Begin with about 10 minutes a day and gradually increase the time as it feels right. There’s no rush — just find a rhythm that works for you.

Build your Micropulsing schedule.

A 6-week guide to start slowly and find the routine that works for you.

Micropulsing

Start here
  • Start with 10 minutes per day for 3–4 days
  • Increase by 20 minutes every 3–4 days until you reach 2 hours per day
  • If it feels like too much, dial back to 10 minutes

Important

Your body may need time to adjust — that’s normal. If you feel tired or “off,” reduce your time and build back up more slowly.

Tips this week

  • Wet the Sponge Sleeves properly — moist, not dripping. Squeeze out the excess. Too much water between the Sleeves and the water diverts the current.
  • You don’t need to feel much — start at a comfortable level and adjust the intensity throughout the session if needed.
  • Can’t feel anything at all? — drink a large glass of water, wait 5 minutes, then try again. Dehydration is the most common reason beginners can’t feel the current.
