Born in nature
Ozone forms naturally when lightning passes through air — it’s that fresh, clean scent after a storm. High in the atmosphere, the ozone layer is made of the very same molecule.
Ozonated water is made by bubbling ozone — an energized form of oxygen (O₃) — through water. With the SOTA Water O₃zonator, you make it fresh at home using just the unit, an airstone and a glass of water.
Explore how it works
Wherever nature needs to freshen air or water, ozone is already doing the work. It’s been part of the earth’s own cleaning cycle since the very beginning.
Ozone forms naturally when lightning passes through air — it’s that fresh, clean scent after a storm. High in the atmosphere, the ozone layer is made of the very same molecule.
Ordinary oxygen is two atoms (O₂). Ozone is three (O₃) — a more energetic form that is naturally short-lived and gradually relaxes back into plain oxygen.
Ozone has been used to freshen and treat water in cities, spas and bottling plants since the late 1800s. It does its work, then simply turns back into oxygen.
The SOTA Water O₃zonator brings that same simple principle to your kitchen counter — fresh ozonated water, whenever you want a glass.
Plain water with ozone bubbled through it — made fresh at home with the SOTA Water O₃zonator.
The unit draws in air and energizes it into ozone — three oxygen atoms instead of two. It’s the same molecule nature makes during a storm, produced gently on demand.
A fine stream of bubbles carries the ozone into your glass by way of the airstone — dissolving into the water and lifting its oxygen content and energizing the water.
Using the Water O₃zonator, the airstone and a glass of water, you make a fresh batch in minutes. No additives, no chemicals — just air and water.
It’s simpler than people expect — pour, bubble, drink. Here’s exactly what happens and what you’ll see along the way.
Slide to explore each stage
Pour water
Pour fresh water into a clean glass tumbler — filtered or spring water gives the cleanest taste. This is your starting point.
Start bubbling
A steady column of fine bubbles rises from the airstone, carrying ozone through the water. The water stays perfectly clear — the bubbles are the only thing you’ll see.
Ready for drinking
When the time’s up, remove the airstone and drink right away — crisp, clear and at its freshest within the first few minutes.

Ready for the next adventure
“We were hiking to a hot spring at over 6,000 feet elevation and brought ozonated water. I was carrying my camera equipment and heavy tripod, yet we were still able to make the climb comfortably. I believe it helped us with stamina and functioning at the higher altitude.”
— P.M., · California, USA
Some notice a lift, without the caffeine
“Just a quick message to say I absolutely love my new SOTA Water Ozonator. I use it every day, twice a day. I’ve noticed that when I come in from work very tired, late in the evening I drink one glass and I stop yawning.”
— S.D, · California, USA
Some people notice a soothing feeling in the mouth
“I’ve been easily susceptible to mouth sensitivity for years, historically, nothing I tried would help. That all changed after I bought the water ozonating unit. I highly recommend one as part of your wellness tool kit.”
— A.F., · Florida, USA
Crisp, natural fuel for your daily routine
“My husband and I also drank a glass of ozonated water in the morning and at lunch. We initially were having a glass at night as well, but we both felt it was too energizing for the evening. We now stick to earlier in the day and have continued making it part of our routine.”
— B.C., · United Kingdom
Many use it to freshen fruits and vegetables before eating
“Kitchen Essential: I use it to clean all my fruits and vegetables and to ozonate my drinking water.”
— B.J., · Germany
Some notice the difference right away
“It’s amazing the elevated state you get from the flood of extra oxygen…”
— L.J., · California, USA
Think of Ozonated Water like any wellness practice — a fresh glass, made and enjoyed regularly as part of the SOTA Wellness Program. The routine is simple: make it, drink it, repeat.
Everyone’s approach looks different. Here’s one way it could work — yours might look nothing like this, and that’s entirely the point.
Morning Glass
Bubble a fresh glass as soon as you’re up and drink it right away. Mornings are ideal — your stomach is empty, and there’s a natural gap before breakfast.
Mid-Morning Boost
Enjoy another glass mid-morning.
Afternoon Refresh
Enjoy a glass mid-afternoon, or use it before or after a workout to stay hydrated.
Kitchen Helper
Soak fruit &/or vegetables in a bowl of cold water and ozonate them — a small, optional kitchen habit.
New things can feel unfamiliar. Here’s what people often assume — and what’s actually true.
Myth
“It has to be drunk within minutes or it’s wasted”
Reality
Fresh is best — ozone gradually relaxes back into ordinary oxygen, especially in an open glass. But you have more flexibility than you’d think: sealed in an airtight glass or stainless steel bottle, a batch holds its freshness considerably longer. Make it close to when you’ll enjoy it and cap what you don’t finish.
Myth
“I can ozonate in any container”
Reality
Glass is best. Use a glass or stainless steel container. It's worth avoiding plastic and other metals — ozone is highly oxidative and can break down plastic and other materials, potentially releasing contaminants into your water. A simple drinking glass works perfectly for a single serving.
Myth
“More bubbling time is always better”
Reality
There is a physical saturation limit to how much ozone the water can hold; once that limit is reached, any additional bubbling is simply ineffective, as it releases ozone gas back into the surrounding environment instead of into your glass.
Myth
“Any water will do”
Reality
Technically, yes — any water works. But water carries its own backdrop: minerals, chlorine, microbes. Good drinking water gives you a clean starting point. Filtered or spring water is a common choice — nothing in the glass but water and fresh ozone.
Myth
“Water temperature doesn’t matter”
Reality
Temperature plays a key role. Chilled water holds the most ozone, while hot water holds very little — what does dissolve is gone almost as fast as it enters. Many people find room-temperature water is gentler on the digestive system, so it comes down to what feels best for you.
Myth
“The word ‘ozone’ sounds dangerous.”
Reality
The word makes people nervous - we mostly hear it in pollution and air-quality alerts. But that worry comes from breathing it in polluted air, not from a fresh glass of ozonated water made as directed. In reality, ozone is simply an energized form of oxygen (O₃) - used to purify drinking water worldwide for over a century.
It’s not a replacement for anything you do. It’s one more small input — like any of these.

Pour fresh water into a clean glass. Use glass or stainless steel — not plastic. No special water required — tap, filtered, or spring water all work fine.
Attach the Silicone Tubing to the ozone outlet on the side of the unit. Place the Airstone into the water so it sits near the bottom of the glass and bubbles freely.
Touch the ON/OFF/TIMER button to turn the unit on. Fine bubbles will begin passing through the water - you may notice the fresh scent of ozone. Position the glass away from the unit.
When the time’s up, lift out the Airstone and enjoy your water right away while it’s freshest. Let the Airstone air dry, ready for your next session.
A 6-week guide to starting slowly and making it a natural part of daily life.
Important
Ozonated Water can be energizing for some, so it’s best to drink it in the morning, afternoon or early evening — not right before bed.
Important
If you’re also Micropulsing and feel it’s too much, drinking more Ozonated Water can actually help your body adjust.
Important
The ozone in stored water continues to dissipate over time, eventually leaving none. Fresh is always best — stored is still good water.
Important
By week 4 the habit should be established. If you’re still forgetting, attach it to something unmissable — your morning routine, before a work-out, or during a regular daily activity.
Important
Always ozonate in a well-ventilated area and avoid inhaling the ozone directly — concentrated ozone in air may irritate lung tissue. Near an open window or under a stove-top fan is perfect.
Important
Week 6 is the beginning, not the end. Being consistent with drinking ozonated water is the key to getting results.
The SOTA Water O₃zonator bubbles ozone through water to create fresh ozonated water at home — using just air and water, ready in minutes.
We wrote the SOTA Wellness Program Guide for those just beginning — and those who’ve been at it for a decade. It’s the document we wish we’d had early on, and one long-time users still return to.
