Used across civilizations
Ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans stored water and food in silver vessels to preserve them. Long before modern science, people understood silver had something other metals didn’t.
Ionic~Colloidal Silver is a suspension of silver ions and tiny silver particles in water - created using a gentle electrical process. With the SOTA Silver Pulser, you can make it fresh at home using just distilled water and pure, fine silver wires.
Explore how it works
This isn’t a new idea. It’s an ancient one that people around the world have relied on long before modern science gave it a name.
Ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans stored water and food in silver vessels to preserve them. Long before modern science, people understood silver had something other metals didn’t.
Silver is one of nature’s elements, found in the earth and used by people throughout history. It isn’t manufactured chemistry — it’s a mineral.
Silver has been called one of nature’s nourishing gifts. With its versatile list of uses, it has been part of wellness traditions around the world for generations.
The SOTA Silver Pulser makes it possible to produce your own Ionic~Colloidal Silver at home — at a fraction of the cost of buying it and with full control over every batch.
A water-based solution containing tiny silver particles — made at home with distilled water and pure silver wires.
The silver exists as charged silver ions suspended in distilled water, with 90–95% of the silver in ionic form. These ions are small enough to remain evenly distributed throughout the liquid — and at the right concentration, ideal for absorption.
A colloid is a mixture where particles are dispersed but not dissolved. In Ionic~Colloidal Silver, 5–10% of the silver displays colloidal properties, consisting of microscopic silver particles formed from naturally clustered silver ions within the solution.
Using the Silver Pulser, two pure silver wires, and distilled water, a low current passes through the water, releasing silver ions from the wires into the solution. No additives, no preservatives — your own fresh batch of Ionic~Colloidal Silver.
Color and taste are the two things every new user wonders about. Here’s exactly what to expect.
Slide to explore different intensity levels
Clear
The silver is in its smallest, mostly-ionic form. This is what most well-run batches made with distilled water look like. It tastes much like water, with at most a faint metallic note.
Pale Gold
A faint straw-coloured tint, barely visible when held to light. Slightly more yellow than clear — safe and effective for internal use. Tastes like water with a more noticeable metallic note.
Yellow
Yellow means higher silver concentration. Nothing to worry about, just a stronger batch. It’s still safe and usable.
Dark / Cloudy
Gray or cloudy means something has affected the batch — silver oxide, trace minerals, or detergent residue are common culprits, as are incorrect wire positioning, brewing too long, or light exposure. Safe for plants and household use, but not suitable for human or pet use.
What thousands of users from around the world consistently say they appreciate about making Ionic~Colloidal Silver part of their daily life.

Something gentle for the skin you live in
“Pimples have been negatively affecting my life since I was 14 years old. For most of my life I would avoid people rather than going out because I was worried about my appearance. I have now been taking the silver for two weeks and I can already notice a difference.”
— M.B. · Ontario, Canada
A simple addition to the daily routine
“We started using colloidal silver in the Waterpik — the whole family does it now. At his next checkup, the hygienist asked, ‘What has happened to his teeth?’ Checkups are perfect.”
— L.M. · Utah, USA
Simple, natural, and ready when you need it
“Sometimes I don’t have the proper washing facilities because I am on the road, so after I clean the dishes, I spray them with the silver suspension.”
— R.P. · California, USA
For those who prefer a more natural approach
“The Silver Pulser is the most wonderful! I have very good results. I am 93 years old and bought the Pulser almost twenty years ago — the SOTA machine is on my list of natural things I recommend.”
— G.H. · California, USA
Simple support for hair and scalp
“I have not washed my hair with soap for three years. I only use ionic colloidal silver — my hair looks and feels clean and I love the simple solution it provided.”
— T.M. · Ontario, Canada
Gentle enough to share with the ones you love
“My canary developed bumpy skin around his eyes and had brittle nails and scaly legs. I started putting silver in both his drinking and bath water. In about 2 months, his nails were no longer brittle, his legs were less scaly and the bumpy skin around his eyes was smooth.”
— J.S. · California, USA
Think of Ionic~Colloidal Silver like any wellness practice — a small amount taken regularly, as part of the SOTA Wellness Program, is more valuable than the occasional larger amount. Once you complete the program, take a break and pick it up again when you need to.
Everyone’s approach looks different. Here’s one way it could work — yours might look nothing like this, and that’s exactly the point.
Brew fresh batch
Fill a tall glass container with 4 cups (1 L) of fresh distilled water. Connect the silver wires and turn the unit on. Four hours later, your batch is ready.
Tip: At the full 8 oz a day, brew a double batch (8 cups / 2 L) to cover the whole week.
Begin with a small amount as part of your morning routine, then build gradually to around 8 oz a day, 5 days a week. Find what works for you.
Drink it your way — all at once, split between morning and evening, or sipped through the day. Best on an empty stomach: 15–30 minutes before food or supplements, or 2 hours after eating.
Storage check
A single 4-cup batch is about four days at 8 oz a day. If you’re running low, make an extra batch tonight (brewing double on Sundays skips this step.)
New things can feel unfamiliar. Here’s what people often assume — and what’s actually true.
Myth
“Darker means stronger — and stronger is better”
Reality
Colorless to pale gold is ideal. A darker color indicates higher concentration or larger particle size — not better quality. The 5–8 PPM range is considered optimal for absorption.
Myth
“I can store it in any container”
Reality
Glass only. Plastic has an electrostatic charge that pulls silver ions out of the solution. Metal reacts with silver. A clean glass Mason jar is ideal — dark glass is even better because light exposure breaks down the silver ions.
Myth
“It lasts forever once made”
Reality
Stored properly in a dark glass bottle at stable room temperature, it can last up to 5 years. But light, heat and improper containers degrade it faster than most people expect.
Myth
“Any distilled water will do”
Reality
Fresh distilled water produces the best results. Distilled water stored in plastic bottles for a long time can absorb trace impurities. Use recently purchased distilled water for the clearest, most consistent batches.
Myth
“A bigger batch is always better”
Reality
Larger quantities are possible, but PPM concentration changes with volume. The standard 4-cup (1L) batch is recommended to start. Larger batches require understanding how volume affects concentration.
Myth
“The silver wires wear out quickly”
Reality
A single pair of Silver Wires can produce up to 70–80 gallons (265–300 liters) if cared for properly. Switch them side to side and flip top to bottom occasionally to even out the wear. Requires a little care. Lasts a long time.
It’s not a replacement for anything you do. It’s one more small input — like any of these.

Pour 4 cups (1L) of fresh distilled water into a tall glass container. Do not use plastic or metal. Use distilled water — not tap or filtered water.
Insert the Silver Wires into the Silver Wire Holder. Place the holder on top of the glass container. Plug the Silver Wire Holder cord into the Silver Pulser. The silver wires must be at least 70% immersed in the water — keep them about 1 inch from the bottom.
Turn the unit on. The green light will come on and the orange light will confirm the wires have conductivity. After 2 hours, remove the wires, wipe off any silver oxide with a paper towel, stir the solution, then reinsert. Continue for another 2 hours total.
Once complete, wipe the silver wires with a paper towel and store them separately. Pour into a dark glass jar and store at room temperature, away from light.
A 6-week guide to start slowly and find the routine that works for you.
Important
The solution should be clear or pale golden and you should be able to see through it. A metallic taste is normal. If it’s grey or cloudy, use it for plants rather than internally.
Important
Keep it handy: Out-of-sight often means out-of-mind. Keep a shot glass on the bathroom counter, or a sticky note in the kitchen — whatever reminds you to take it. The people who benefit most are the ones who make it easy to remember.
Important
Plan your supply: At 8 oz (250 ml) per day, 5 days a week, a 32 oz (1L) batch lasts 4 days. Decide now — brew twice a week, or do a 64 oz (2L) double batch once a week. Many people settle on a Sunday brew as their rhythm.
Important
Be prepared: Keep distilled water on hand so you can brew right away when you run low. Minimize any disruption to your routine — that’s what keeps the habit going.
Important
Listen to your body: Keeping a simple journal of your experience is a great way to track the overall benefits on your wellness journey. Looking back can be a great motivator when you see the changes that have come over time.
Important
Since it is wise to take breaks after drinking consistently for 6–12 months, develop a reminder system — set a date on your phone or calendar for when to pause and when to resume.
