Ozone is easy to make. Making it well is another story.
Last time, I shared the story behind our two new Water O3zonator web pages and promised there was more to come.
Today, I'm stepping aside and handing things over to Russ.
As the person who designed our Water O3zonator, there is no one better than Russ to explain the difference between ozonated water and ozonated water done right. We sat him down and asked him to elaborate …
He started right where he always does: Oxygen is Life — and ozone is simply a supercharged form of oxygen. Bubble it into a glass of water and you get the full benefit of that extra oxygen.
From there, he dives into the detail most people overlook — the part that really matters. You see, ozone is oxidative, it breaks materials down. That's exactly what makes it so wonderful, but it's also why building an ozone unit takes so much care. Every single component along the ozone path has to be able to endure the oxidative effect of ozone so that the purest ozone ends up in your glass of water. Because if it doesn't — well, those broken-down contaminants end up right there in your glass of water.
So pull up a chair and let Russ tell you about it — the same way he would if you'd stopped by our office for a visit. He walks you through the unit piece by piece — showing you one opened up, so you can see every component that goes into building it, and into making ozone well. Learn why the enclosure is copper coated and how it is possible to clean the ozone chamber yourself.
It’s a treat to share a little piece of our "behind the scenes" with you.

A Quick Note on Pricing
Price Update Effective September 15, 2026
On September 15, 2026, the price of the SOTA Water O3zonator will move to $450 USD. It's the first increase in seven years — we last adjusted it back in 2019 — and we've held it as long as we reasonably could.
I wanted to share this ahead of time, so if you've been thinking about bringing one into your home, you can still order at the current $395 USD price through September 14, 2026.
Thank you, as always, for your trust and support – Russ and I very much appreciate it!
